Time To Get Healthy…

As most parents have probably figured out already, when you have kids, it’s awfully difficult to keep healthy. For the healthy parents out there, my hat is off to you! So, I decided to put together a blog about my quest to become a ‘healthier’ parent. Now, most of you know the tone of this blog already, and I can’t promise you that it will be the same. However, I will definitely need your support, so I would appreciate it if you would at least give the other blog a look, and offer some inspiring words, quotes, or any other crap that you think will help me along the way. Of course, it’s all up to me to make this happen, but it does help immensely to have a team of folks ‘in my corner’.

FYI – this doesn’t mean that I’m going to take time off from The Man of the Minivan, I still 100% enjoy writing this blog, and I will keep producing so long as the kids and other folks keep providing me with material. ;)

The name of my other blog is Sweating Buckets. Most folks will ask ‘why?’. It’s because THAT’S what I do!

;)

Thanks for your support and readership – it’s always very appreciated!

  1. Good luck! I have to do the same after bloodwork showed that my cholesterol level has shot through the ceiling…. I am now discovering the joys of a cheese-free world…. then! I remember Daytona, I was there for bike week in 2000. I imagine it must be a beautiful place to run. I’ll be looking to you for regular inspiration!

Thank you! :) I am planning on averaging 1x per week on that blog. So far, so good! Will update on Sunday ;) Hey, it’s awesome that you are looking to lower your cholesterol – you can do it! :)

  2. Good luck on your journey. I feel your pain, I made the decision to get healthier six months ago, and while it is not always easy, and I am far from perfect in my healthy living, I feel so much better. I will enjoy following you there
